Popular Education Leadership Development Project

Founded in 2000 by immigrant workers facing a variety of workplace abuses, the Latino Union continues to develop leadership from within the immigrant worker community, acting as the vehicle whereby those directly affected by labor, civil rights, and immigration abuses may lead the effort to improve their own conditions.

Through informal on-going conversations, structured workshops, and a formal leadership training series, Latino Union members develop the skills needed to fully participate in civic life and social change efforts.
